Circular vibrators with two strokes

An „ingenious“ construction and the modular engineering by Walther Trowal made it possible. In a mass finishing machine of the CM-model range two defined strokes between 1 and 10 mm can be produced. Adjustable imbalance generators, frequency controlled reversion of rotational direction as well as mini PLC characterize this innovation. This results in increase of productivity with gentle two step parts processing as well as in a reduction of processing costs due to optimization of process and minimized downtimes.

The modular machine system of the CM circular vibrator model range currently comprises 6 basic models with work bowl volumes of 110 up to 1000 liters. Special designs for various work pieces as well as different processing aims (e.g. first scrubbing, then smoothing or polishing without consumables within one machine) are available. If the user conditions are right, the new technology can also be retrofitted into existing machines. This helps to save much time and many in no time at all.

Spectacular results could already be achieved with the surface optimization of premium reversible cutting plates made of sintered metals for turning and milling tools. The current, process typical scrap rates between 20 and 30 % per batch could be – thanks to Walther Trowal – be minimized to significantly less than 1 %. In an extremely larger test machine, the same principle is used to feed and discharge very large and heavy rings for post processing comfortably into the grinding process without any problems. The final test report is expected eagerly, test runs with the especially noise reduced system lead to amazing success.
