The reliable separation of workpieces from the abrasive media is crucial to the success of mass finishing: it eliminates the need for manual labour, but above all, it contributes to a high level of process reliability.

Our solution: a sophisticated, precise separation technology that consistently separates workpieces from the Abrasive media.

We tailor the separation process to each individual vibratory finishing operation. Even when processing samples at the Test & Training Centre (TTC), separation systems are an integral part of the process. This ensures that processes remain stable, results are reproducible and production remains efficient.

In linked production processes in particular, the reliable separation of workpieces from the abrasive media plays a vital role: in many applications, it is essential that no abrasive media enter the subsequent process.

For other manufacturing processes, it is of fundamental importance that parts from different batches are not mixed under any circumstances. We ensure that the work container is completely emptied after each batch.

Even for workpieces that are particularly small or have dimensions similar to those of the Abrasive media, our experts, drawing on their many years of experience, will find the optimal separation system.

The technology behind separation systems

Separation using
integrated screening sections

Most circular vibratory finishing machines and continuous processing machines are fitted with integrated screening sections. We configure them to meet individual requirements.

Magnetic separators

Ferritic workpieces of a similar size to the abrasive media are extracted from the abrasive media batch using magnetic separators and transported to the subsequent dryers.

Screening machines

Barrels, drum-type, trough-type and some circular vibratory finishing machines do not have an integrated screen. The entire contents of the working hopper are passed through a screening machine.
