We use two different methods for drying the parts:
In the vibratory dryers or drum dryers, heated granules – environmentally friendly maize or nut meal – or wood cubes absorb the moisture and any impurities that may still be adhering to the parts.
All granules are made from natural, renewable raw materials. The particle size is optimised for the vibratory finishing process and is subject to our strict quality control. An added bonus: as well as drying, the relative movement between the parts and the medium also polishes the parts.
In the belt dryers, parts that are not suitable for a granulate dryer are gently dried with hot air as they pass through.
