Mass Finishing Workshop
Focus on the benefits for you
Many vibratory finishing processes run smoothly – until something changes
A new workpiece – whether due to a change in material, new geometry, different dimensions or increased quality requirements – can have a significant impact on your vibratory finishing process. We support you in adapting the process to the new conditions quickly, reliably and effectively.
Mass finishing Workshop at Walther Trowal
Dates: 13 October to 14 October 2026
Location: Haan, Germany
What to expect
Insights into mass finishing and Process water technology
You will gain a clearly structured, practical overview of vibratory grinding and process water technology. The course will examine the key influencing factors as well as the optimal interaction between abrasive media, water, treatment agents, processing time and the treatment of process water.
The focus is on practical applications
You will learn how to recognise a stable process, where typical errors occur and how processes can be optimised in a targeted manner. On site, you will work in small groups with direct access to our experts and the laboratory. We present the material in a clear and accessible way, leaving plenty of scope for questions.
Bring your own workpieces!
We’ll work with you to develop the optimal vibratory finishing process and the perfect Process water technology to achieve your desired result.
About us
Since 1931, Walther Trowal has been synonymous with industrial surface finishing, from process consultancy through to the right equipment.
We invented ‘Trowalizing’: the term is derived from ‘TROmmel and WALther’ – and remains synonymous with modern mass finishing technology to this day.
Over the years, we have consistently expanded our portfolio: from vibratory finishing and Blasting to the Coating of small parts in bulk. In combination with optimally tailored process media, we enable reproducible and cost-effective surface treatment processes.
Test & Training Centre
At the Test & Training Centre (TTC), we work with you to develop and optimise the ideal machining process – based on your workpiece samples and your requirements. Whether it’s Mass finishing, Blasting or Small parts coating: we test, optimise parameters and deliver a clear machining concept for your specific application.
