Following mass finishing, the process water contains abrasive media and metal abrasion, and often oil as well. Regardless of whether the water is to be reused in the cycle or discharged, it must be cleaned. Furthermore, pollutants such as heavy metals must be reduced before the water is discharged into the sewer system.
In centrifugal circulation systems, flocculants ensure that the process water retains the desired properties (cleaning, corrosion protection, etc.) over a longer period. Water suitable for discharge is not usually obtained in centrifugal circulation systems.
Flocculants ensure that the smallest particles of dirt in the water combine to form larger flocs, which can then be separated out. For automatically operated systems, liquid flocculants are recommended as they are particularly easy to dose. For water suitable for discharge, the LAC flocculant counteracts the effect of surfactants and forms microflocs, whilst F enlarges the flocs and clarifies the water. Flocculants for recirculating systems function similarly to F.
If flocculation is carried out manually, powdered flocculants are more suitable. ESM is recommended for oil-containing water, whilst ESB represents a particularly cost-effective solution for oil-free water.
- Flocculants perform cleaning on process water
- Liquid flocculants for automated systems
- Powdered flocculants for manual flocculation
Trowalpur water treatment agents are used to treat waste water or process water which, following mass finishing, contains abrasion residue from workpieces and abrasive media, as well as oil in many cases. These agents ensure that your process water is always adequately cleaned within your centrifuge circuit. When discharged into the sewerage system, this ensures that your treated water is crystal clear and complies with all regulatory requirements.
Flow
With trowalpur, you can be sure that you are discharging only crystal-clear water into the sewer system, which complies with all regulatory requirements and protects the environment.
