DLT drum dryer

The DLT series drum dryer allows you to dry large quantities of bulk material, flat mass-produced parts and workpieces with high moisture content in a continuous, through-feed process. The workpieces are transported through a rotating sieve drum together with the drying medium, such as ground walnut shells or hardwood cubes. The processing times can be adjusted between two and four minutes.

The drying medium is heated by an electric heater, the temperature of which is infinitely adjustable. After the drying process, the sieve drum automatically separates the drying medium from the workpieces; the granules are returned to the heating zone. To ensure that highly absorbent parts are completely emptied, the DLT dryer is fitted with a sieve basket extension.

An integrated dust extraction system and an air shower remove dust particles and entrained dry granules, ensuring that the workpieces are dry and dust-free and ready for the next processing steps. Continuously adjustable heating
